WHAT IS RIGID PLASTIC PACKAGING?
Rigid Plastic Packaging is a very large and important portion of the packaging industry. A sophisticated machine typically converts plastic pellets such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PET, and others to create durable and versatile storage solutions for food, beverages, household chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more. Typically, this manufacturing is either blow molding or injection molding. Another important process - thermoforming - takes a sheet of plastic, heats it and stretches it over a form to create a tray or clam-shell container.
